Welcome to Spelling Help Online - a British site written by a fully qualified teacher and dyslexia tutor. This site offers free spelling info as well as free downloadable worksheets, word searches, word jumbles and word lists, all of which you are welcome to use.

Many, many people need spelling help - children, teenagers, managers, doctors, even teachers!

It is obviously not a sign of a low IQ. It just means that maybe you didn't receive the best teaching, or that you missed a lot of school, or your memory is poor, or maybe you simply have a problem with words and letters (and there are lots of other reasons too!) I am a qualified teacher with over 20 years experience of teaching in UK primary schools as well as of 1:1 tutoring. I am currently working as a private dyslexia tutor in the Brighton area of Sussex. My private pupils include children who for one reason or another need an extra boost in the important areas of reading, writing and spelling.
