If you are looking for a Dyslexia Tutor in Sussex there are several teachers listed below who may be able to help.

If you are looking for an assessment with an Educational Psychologist there is a link further down the page.

I created this particular page because there didn't seem to be a central place for parents to visit and find a dyslexia tutor. I hope it will be of some help.

If you would like to be listed on this page as a private teacher or as an agency then please get in touch. There is no charge.

You need to be a private UK tutor with a specialist dyslexia teaching qualification or an agency that offers specialist teachers.

As a parent it will be up to you to decide whether the teacher is right for your child. Please ask any questions about qualifications or experience that you feel are necessary.

Apart from myself of course, the teachers on this page have no connection with the website spelling-help-online. I am simply bringing teachers together for the convenience of parents looking for a tutor.

I hope you find it useful - Hilary Burt

UK Tutoring Agencies With Specialist Teachers

It is my understanding that the UK tutoring agencies on our UK Tutoring Agencies page have dyslexia tutors qualified to teach children with specific learning difficulties as well as offering more general tutoring help.

If you would like to be listed on this site as a UK private dyslexia tutor or as an agency then please get in touch. You need to be a private UK tutor with a specialist dyslexia teaching qualification or an agency that offers specialist teachers.

When taking on a teacher, agencies should always ask for references as well as for evidence of qualifications. In addition, CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) clearance is also necessary.

If you are looking for a dyslexia tutor, do not be embarrassed to ask the agency if these checks have been done. Alternatively, if you are employing an individual privately, a qualified and experienced teacher will happily provide certificates of their training for you to see.
