Spelling Help OnlineWelcome to Spelling Help Online - a British site written by a fully qualified teacher and dyslexia tutor. This site offers free spelling and dyslexia info as well as free downloadable worksheets, word searches, word jumbles and word lists, all of which you are welcome to use. We also have recommended spelling software. Many, many people need spelling help - children, teenagers, managers, doctors, even teachers! It is obviously not a sign of a low IQ. It just means that maybe you didn't receive the best teaching, or that you missed a lot of school, or your memory is poor, or maybe you simply have a problem with words and letters (and there are lots of other reasons too!) It is certainly nothing to be ashamed of! This website offers a practical guide which will hopefully help you in your quest to improve your spelling - or that of your child. Here you'll find:

I am a qualified teacher with over 25 years experience of teaching in UK primary schools as well as of 1:1 tutoring. I now work as a private dyslexia tutor in the Brighton area of Sussex. My private pupils are children who for one reason or another need extra tuition in the important areas of reading, writing and spelling.
