There is a free version but please note that only the "Microsoft Mary" voice is available! In the paid versions, you'll hear a more natural sounding voice. In fact you get to choose the voice you most prefer by listening to a clip of Charles, Mel or Audrey! You can have a British or American voice to read your text, or a French, German or Spanish reader if you are ordering the software in another language. "Natural Reader is great.
